Food has been winning....
It's amazing how hard you work to get weight off and how easily it piles back on. In a matter of a week and a half of utter gluttony I have managed to pack on a good amount of weight. I had a tough time between the end of school, graduating and starting a new full time work schedule. Life happens I guess.
Today, today is a new day.
I am getting myself back on track. I need to find my focus and I think a little of that came back today. This morning I had a tough workout at the track. Coach took it easy on me, but when it's you against, well YOU, it's a pretty tough match up. I have been feeling super tired and unmotivated in the mornings lately. I think much of this comes from the horrible food I have been eating. Once I get in the gym and get into the workout I feel better.
It's funny how easily I forgot how good it feels to workout. I genuinely feel better when I workout. My head gets so clear and I feel like I can conquer anything. It's just the matter of getting myself in the gym and not making excuses of why I can't go. Today I was successful and I hit my cardio goal! It's all about setting obtainable goals to get myself over this hurdle!
